“I see the spirit in all things - from the tiniest atom to the majesty of the star filled universe. The same spirit that keeps the plants in their orbit and the sun on its course is present in me”
About Us
The Shepparton Spiritualist Centre Inc. has been established in the Shepparton area and working for the community for over 40 years.
The Centre is run by a dedicated team of people and is an affiliated Centre with the Victorian Spiritualists’ Union Inc. which was founded in 1870 by W. H. Terry.
We hold our Service days on the last Sunday of each month, bringing comfort and love through our Mediums who demonstrate proof of survival.
A Medium is a go‐between, a link between the Spirit world and our Earthly world, bringing evidence that those we knew on this Earth who have passed over, are still living but have left the physical body.
Spiritualism is a progressive philosophy; we adhere to no fixed doctrine or article of faith. Each spiritualist is expected to believe in that which is based on verifiable fact and personal experience.
The seven principles of Spiritualism
Spiritualism is a way of life. It combines Philosophy, Science and Religion.
These principles were developed and derived through the Mediumship of one of Spiritualism’s greatest pioneers Emma Hardinge Britten in 1871 by communicating with the spirit of Robert Owen.
Spiritualists mainly agree on seven principles
These seven principles are open to interpretation as each person understands them.
